Improve your game with GameBullet

GameBullet is an intelligent hockey or floorball stick with a sensor module integrated inside the top of the stick shaft. The sensor module turns the stick into a game controller which sends signals to software that can be downloaded into a mobile phone and used in integration with various online services.

”GameBullet can be used in multiple ways, such as improving ballhandling, passing and shooting techniques”, says CEO Timo Salmi of A4SP Techologies Ltd., the company behind the product.

A4SP aims to bring entertainment and collaborative applications to the international team game markets, which have lacked the tools for skill measuring and analyzing.

GameBullettm was born as a result of Timo and Tomi Salmi’s idea and development work. A4SP Technologies Lts. was founded as a result of an evaluation made by the Tuli program. The sensor technology has been developed in collaboration with the Helsinki University of Technology and with the Foundation for Finnish Inventions. At the moment the testing of mass production versions of the stick sensor is under way.

Various GameBullettm products will be launched into the consumer market in 2008. Aiding the launches is eg. a contract with the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, signed in January 2008.
