Results from the Tuli program

During 2007, 389 research-based inventions or business ideas were evaluated in the Tuli program. 181 of the projects started from invention notices. During the year, eight inventions or ideas lead to founding of a new company and two lead to a licensing deal.

From 2002 to 2006, over 1500 research-based inventions or business ideas were evaluated. 99 projects advanced into licensing deals and 184 into founding a new business. The annual funding volume of the Tuli program was approximately 2.5 million euros during 2002-2006.

Tekes is prepared to fund the 46 cooperative universities and research institutes with 12 million euros from 1st April 2008 to 30th April, 2011.
